Meditation techniques (ध्यान तंत्र): VBT 7 (विज्ञान भैरव तंत्र ७)

Every month I will be sharing one technique of meditation. There will be original Sanskrut text, and English / Marathi commentary on the technique. I expect reader should not take it as just a piece of information but practice the technique that suits him/her for at least one month to further the spiritual quest.

विज्ञान भैरव तंत्र    

Vidnyan Bhairav Tantra

श्री देव्युवाच
श्रुतं देव मया सर्वं रुद्रयामलसम्भवम् |
त्रिकभेदमशेषेण सारात्सारविभागशः ||

अद्यपि न निवृत्तो मे संशय: परमेश्वर |
किं रुपं तत्वतो देव शब्दराशिकलामयम् ||

किं वा नवात्मभेदेन भैरवे भैरवाकृतौ |
त्रिशिरोभेदभिन्नं वा किं वा शक्तित्रयात्मकम् ||

नादबिन्दुमयं वापि किं चंद्रार्धनिरोधिका: |
चक्रारुढमनच्कं वा किं वा शक्तिस्वरुपकम् ||

परापराया: सकलम् अपरायाश्च वा पुनः |
पराया यदि तद्वत्स्यात् परत्वं तद्विरुध्यते ||

नहि वर्ण विभेदेन देहभेदेन वा भवेत् |
परत्वंनिष्कलत्वेनसकलत्वे न तदभवेत् ||

प्रसादं कुरु मे नाथ नि:शेषं छिन्धि संशयम् |


भैरव उवाच
साधु साधु त्वया पृष्टं तन्त्रसारमिदं प्रिये |

गूहनीयतमं भद्रे तथापि कथयामि ते |
यत्किञ्चित्सकलं रुपं भैरवस्य प्रकीर्तितम् ||

देवीने विचारले...

हे शिवा! तुझे खरे स्वरुप काय आहे?

हे अचंबित करणारे जगत काय आहे?

बीजाचे मूलतत्व काय आहे?

संसाररुपी चक्राच्या केंद्रस्थानी काय आहे?

नामरुपांच्या पलिकडे काय आहे?

नामरुपातीत अमृतत्वाची प्राप्ती शक्य आहे का?

कृपया माझे शंकानिरसन करा...


शिवाने उत्तरादाखल ११२ ध्यानतंत्रे सांगितली. ज्ञात-अज्ञात विश्वातील सर्व पंथसंप्रदाय,ज्ञानमार्ग यातील एक अथवा अधिक तंत्र पद्धतीद्वारा उत्पन्न झाले. भूतवर्तमान तसेच भविष्य काळातील तत्त्ववेत्तेप्रेषित यातील एक अथवा अधिक तंत्रपद्धतीचे फलस्वरुप आहेत.

 Devi Asks:

O Shiva, what is your reality?
What is this wonder-filled universe?
What constitutes seed?
Who centres the universal wheel?
What is this life beyond form pervading forms?
How may we enter it full, above space and time, names and descriptions?

Now Shiva replies and describes 112 meditation techniques.  All the religions of the world, all the seers of the world, have reached the peak through some technique or other, and all those techniques will be in these one hundred and twelve techniques.

तंत्र ७
क्रमद्वादशकं सम्यग् द्वादशाक्षरभेदितम् |
स्थूलसूक्ष्मपरस्थित्या मुक्त्वा मुक्त्वान्ततः शिवः || 
The twelve centers should be pierced successively through proper understanding of their associated twelve letters. Thus becoming liberated from the gross then the subtle, one by one at the end of its journey the kundilini becomes shiva.

When invisible prana is felt entering in heart during sleep you may control over dreams and death and rebirth

Visible part of breath is mere a carrier of prana which is an invisible part of breath. It can be felt if you are attentive at third eye or at the junction of breaths or at the center of naval. The easiest is to be attentive at third eye. The inhalation is always with prana and exhalation is always pranaless. But it reverses before six months of your death. Hence those who feel invisible part of breath can know about their death in advance. Body cannot suck prana from cosmos as it is no more required. Prana enters in to the body through heart. If you are aware of it during falling in to sleep, you will be aware in dreams. Ordinarily we are not aware in dreams and take it as real. That happens as we are focused in third eye automatically in sleep and in third eye there is no difference between dreams and reality. But once you are aware in dreams you can either create your own dreams or stop dreaming altogether. Ordinarily we are not master but victims of the dream and have no control over it. Sleep without dream is nothing but short duration death and death is nothing but long duration sleep. Qualitatively there is no difference. Day to day death or life to life sleep. Death is such a deep sleep that you forget everything and start everything afresh. Once you direct your dreams you can direct your death and birth, when to die and where to reborn again. Dreams are the very basis of this world. Ordinarily we are just victims, we don’t know why we are born, why we die, what directs us? There seems to be no reason, just chaos, just accidents. But once we are aware of prana we will understand the reasoning behind it.

श्वासातील प्राणाच्या अनुभूतीतून मृत्युंजयता...
श्वासोच्छवासातील दृश्य, इंद्रियजन्य घटक केवळ प्राणवाहक. अदृश्य,इंद्रियातीत प्राण हे मूलतत्व. तृतीय नेत्राद्वारा, श्वासविरामाच्या अनुभूतीद्वारा अथवा मणिपूरचक्राद्वारा प्राणाची अनुभूती शक्य. श्वास प्राणासहित तर उच्छवास प्राणरहित. मृत्यूपूर्वी ठराविक काळ श्वास प्राणरहित तर उच्छवास प्राणासहित. त्याद्वारा मृत्यूची पूर्वकल्पना शक्य. निद्रेसमयी हृदयाद्वारा प्राणानुभूतीतून जागृत स्वप्नावस्था शक्य. स्वप्नावस्थेवरील नियंत्रणातून स्वप्नातीत निद्रावस्था प्राप्त. मृत्यू म्हणजे दीर्घ स्वप्नातीत निद्रावस्था तर स्वप्नातीत  निद्रावस्था म्हणजे क्षणिक मृत्यू. विश्वाची निर्मिती स्वप्नाद्वारा, स्वप्नावस्थेवरील नियंत्रणातून विश्वाच्या कार्यकारणभावाची जाणीव शक्य.
